Robert Freeman Sr. was found Jan. 25, 1992, in a corn field off Uhler Road in Forks Township, police said. He was beaten and stabbed, police said. His leather jacket and some of his jewelry were never found, police said. He was last seen alive Jan. 18, 1992, at Ferris' Cafe, a bar in Phillipsburg, police said. He may have been attacked in the parking lot outside the bar, police said. His vehicle was recovered in the lot several days before his body was found, police said.
