Jeffrey Charles Horwith was shot to death July 28, 1988, outside his home in the Ormrod section of North Whitehall, police said. He was killed during a home invasion robbery that happened as Horwith and his wife were returning from dinner at a local restaurant, police said. Horwith was the heir apparent to his father's business, Horwith Trucking in Northampton, Crime stoppers said.
